Camera Lucida It is a device which is used for making  drawing of Microscopic animals.A prism is attached with the metal base.Its fits on the head of simple compound microscope.Camera Lucida(in Latin) meaning Light Chamber.This device performs a superimposition of the specimen which is viewed upon the surface upon which the scientist/students drawing.It is allows the students to draw a duplicate image of that specimen.This device was patented by Sir William Hyde Wollaston in the year of 1807.He was an English Chemist and Physicist.He also famous for discovering Palladium and Rhodium.
